Accepts the new Capless rollerball refill that enables this instrument to lay down a nice wet, dark, thick black line. 12-month "cap off time" allows this refill to remain effective, and not dry out, even though a cap is not affixed to the top. Each pen has a black capless rollerball ink refill inside. Should you desire Ball Pen ink instead of the liquid Gel Ink, the pressurized Fisher Space Pen refill (with the accompanied white adapter) will also fit this instrument allowing the ability to write at any angle, through water - dirt - oil and in extreme cold and hot temperatures. Comes with BOTH a black ink pen refill and a black capless rollerball refill.
